🚨 Graduate Visa Update – What if your child is born in the UK? 👶🇬🇧

Following the latest changes to the UK’s Graduate route, many parents are asking what happens if they have a baby while they are in the UK on a Graduate visa.

If your child is born in the UK and both parents (or one parent, depending on the circumstances) hold permission under the Graduate route, the child does **not** automatically become a British citizen.

In many cases, they will need to apply for permission to stay in the UK as a dependant under the Graduate route if they wish to remain in the UK with their parents.
