The in war in Ukraine has consequences for employers, including those in the UK.

For employers there are a host of challenges to navigate, from redundancy to relocation assistance, from contracts with local firms to those wanting to take time off due to the war.
It is argued that UK employers with employees working in Ukraine may have an obligation to provide them with a safe working environment.

Making sure all of these employees are safe is one matter, but firms also need to be wary of what upping sticks means for their legal entitlements, according to workplace lawyers
