Happy new year!!!!! 🥳

2025 went by like a whirlwind!!! There were many achievements in the last year and I just don’t know where the time has gone. 3 years of running my own branch office in my home town of Newham, East London. My first year of recruiting an employed Paralegal. My first time being named dropped in the national press. Hitting 10 years’ post qualification experience (PQE). Pushing forward with my business, registering my company, focusing on business development, honing my skills, expanding my knowledge, marketing and management, travelling all over the country and bagging a new role as a Criminal Legal Aid Supervisor at one of the leading firms in the West Midlands… and it doesn’t stop here!!!

2026 is another year of opportunities and I am determined to make it a decent year. Over the festive period, I was working hard on some cases in the pipeline with a few trials starting within the next few weeks. Starting the year as I mean to go on 🙌🏽

A’right BABE?

Essex baby! First time attending Grays Police Station but for a slightly different reason.

When my client was arrested, the police seized his personal belongings. His property had now been authorised for release and for many reasons I won’t go into, my client couldn’t attend.

So, armed with my client’s signed authority, off to Grays I went to collect this property. I neeeeeeeeded this stuff ASAP and fingers crossed, it will work out the way I’m hoping (if it does, you know I will post about it 😉)

Let’s talk about CLIENT CARE!!!!!

As a solicitor, client care is EVERYTHING. I pride myself on client care. It’s not just about understanding your client’s objectives and “getting them off”.

It’s about listening to them. Understanding their needs, their feelings and emotions. Especially in a field like criminal defence when so much is at stake.

I have clients that follow my social media content. When you have been representing people for a long time, you get to know them. Their personality, their character and their traits.

So when I received a message like this in my DMs, tell me how I knew STRAIGHT AWAY which client this was 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Today, I am 40 years old. I qualified as a solicitor when I was 29 years old. 6 months before I turned 30.

As I now enter the next decade of my life, I run my own branch office in East London, I also assist with the supervision and management side of the business for Waterfords Solicitors, as well as running the Police Station department at 1 Law Solicitors.

Today also marks the 3 year anniversary of my East London office!

Let’s see what my 40s will bring 💫 ♥️
