Daniel Essoo, CEO of the Mauritius Bankers Association, shared critical insights on the banking landscape in Mauritius.

🔹 Panel Discussion: AML/CFT and Its Impact on Stakeholders
A panel led by experts Mason Bloom (Silver Levene), Daniel Camilleri (Camilleri Galea), Adrien Li (CKLB Fiduciary Group), and moderated by Daniel Essoo, provided a comprehensive overview of Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Financing of Terrorism (AML/CFT) and its implications across various jurisdictions.

While the business sessions are in full swing, our accompanying guests are enjoying an unforgettable Culinary Experience with a talented Mauritian chef at the beautiful Domaines des Aubineaux, nestled in its lush oasis of greenery.

The day began with a trip to the vibrant Curepipe Market, where fresh, local produce was selected alongside the chef. Our guests then had the opportunity to prepare a traditional Mauritian dish, learning the secrets of local cuisine using old, authentic utensils.

To top off this unique experience, a rum tasting session awaits after a delicious lunch. A true immersion into the flavors and culture of Mauritius!

Today marks a significant day for IGAL as we host the Business Day of the AGM in Mauritius, organized by Christian Li from CKLB Mauritius. We had the privilege and honor to welcome The Hon Soomilduth BHOLAH, Minister of Financial Services and Good Governance of Mauritius, who delivered an inspiring opening speech, highlighting the strategic importance of Mauritius as a global financial center.
