For International Women’s Day at Cedar Dean, we’re celebrating women in property and embracing equity.
 
Equity acknowledges that people don't begin life in the same place, and that circumstances can make it more difficult for people to achieve the same goals.
 
The goal of equity is to change systemic and structural barriers that get in the way of people's ability to thrive. 
 
The latest estimates show that women make up just 15% of the workforce in the property industry, but we recognise that the number of women entering the traditionally male-dominated industry is growing.
 
We want to spark a conversation about how to encourage more women to participate across the industry and discuss the steps we can take to change the systemic and structural barriers that hinder their ability to thrive.
 
We hope that people like our own at Cedar Dean will push forward with their careers in property and continue to support other women looking to do the same.
