Woman of the Week 🥳
One of the key things that came out of our first event, is that we need to champion women more in the industry.
Whether that's...
👉 Highlighting their achievements
👉 Encourage them to go for it e.g. asking them to speak at an event
👉 Mentoring them
👉 Giving women the feedback to progress
And so we thought, why don't we shout out one brilliant woman a week?
We've got this amazing network of women - why don't we ask them to suggest who is doing amazing work.
So our very first "Woman of the Week" is...
Carolyn Callie Jones. She has been instrumental in us getting this initiative off the ground, recruiting new members for us, and pushing it on company-wide socials. But her work doesn't stop there. She champions a women in tech project at Naked Wines, to encourage more women to get involved in the industry. And is leading the development of a menopause policy!
Callie is a wonderful example of women empowering other women in business. So we hope you agree, worthy of our first Woman of the Week!
