Buying commercial premises involves much more due diligence than buying a residential property. You will need a full understanding of the building, any legal or planning restrictions, and its long-term viability as an investment. Our commercial property solicitors have decades of experience to help you make the right decision.

If you’re looking to buy commercial premises, please email: [email protected] to arrange a face-to-face or telephone appointment.

👋Say hello to our new conveyancer, Adnan Alihodzic!

Adnan manages the legal transfer of property ownership, ensuring a smooth transaction for buyers and sellers. His key responsibilities include conducting property searches, reviewing title deeds, drafting or reviewing contracts, managing funds, coordinating with mortgage lenders, and finalising the legal registration of ownership. Adnan enjoys speaking to different people every day and he’s fluent in three languages. Previously, he worked mainly in property law and criminal law.

Outside of work, Adnan plays football and basketball, and he loves to read (he has a mini library at home). He also enjoys going to the gym and has a great singing voice (he’s been told!)
Welcome to SHB, Adnan!

When you buy a property, you will need to transfer the legal ownership of the property title deeds. If you co-own a property and need to either add or remove someone from the title deeds, this process is called a transfer of equity. Speak to our solicitors for advice on transferring the ownership of your home or another property.

People often get confused between police intervention and the purpose of a Non-molestation Order. Police action is a response to an event, while a Non-molestation Order prevents future contact or abuse.

You might be able to apply for a Specific Issues Order to help you come to a decision. The Family Court will always act in the best interests of your child. If needed, a Prohibited Steps Order can be used to prevent an ex-partner taking a child out of their school.
