Dodds would like to celebrate the amazing Steve Morris, who is celebrating being qualified as a Solicitor for an incredible 50 years! He started his journey doing all areas of work, before specialising in criminal law. He was well known throughout the courts for his side burns and now for his flamboyant tie collection. A stalwart of the Magistrates Court he has helped teach so many criminal solicitors currently working in the Leicester area and indeed further afield. He also has been in charge of the legendary Dodds Summer BBQs for many years!! He always has a twinkle in his eye and a quick quip. Thank you Steve for all your hard work.

The Partners at Dodds Solicitors LLP are delighted to congratulate Claire Watson for the best performance in the criminal law exams at Leicester University 🎉 👏 🥇

She has therefore been awarded the Brian Dodds Memorial Prize for 2025. ☺️

This prize was created by this firm in order to recognise the contribution made by our late senior partner to the practice of criminal law in Leicester.

Our Senior Partner has recently attended Teamwork Partnership Golf Day. ⛳ 😃

It looks like it was a day full of fun, great networking & relationship building but mostly a fantastic opportunity to support a good cause 🤩

All teams have raised a whooping £4040 which is going to be split three ways between three amazing charities:

· &dee charity who supports and assist families where the parent of a child has a life limiting or life shortening condition

· organization helping the poor children in rural communities in education, health and welfare

· charity providing support for family carers, older people who are lonely and isolated, providing volunteer transport to get people out and about, and activities and information to increase mental well-being

A massive well done to all the teams and thank you to all sponsors for organizing this even so participants could create lasting memories and fundraise for great charities! 👏 😊 👍
