Wow ! FB FASHION BALL/NATIONAL BUSINESS HER0 AWARDS where have you been all
my life !

This was the first time i attended / took a table and encouraged by founder / organiser / all round superwoman Lisa Darwin made it to the catwalk despite getting over flu and a pretty painful knee injury causing me to hobble !

I walked for Needle Partners Limited chosen 2024 charity Black Health Initiative so please contact me if you can donate . This is a small local charity that does incredible work .

i have to say ( as did my team members and guests who attended with me ) that this was hands on the BEST corporate event i have ever attended . If it has slipped your radar just book a table next year .

The level of camaraderie was incredible and i was so grateful for all the support and encouragement my co walkers gave me .

Also huge thanks to the back stage team of fashion. stylists make artists and hairdressers many of whom were uni students who volunteered their time . and all the businesses that loaned the beautiful outfits .... mine were from Reiss Mint Velvet johnlewis

So heartbreaking to hear the news that Speng ( aka Danni Johnson ) has passed today . He was Needle Partners Limited first employee together with Tunika S. Onokwu and he came with me to Birmingham for our first corporate deal ( yeah we had a car accident on the way but recovered and did the deal !) . Our first office was the back room in my house which meant Speng spent a lot of time peering in my fridge and tasting my food and drink 😂. He loved bringing his young daughters to the office and show them what he was doing and was a great paralegal before moving onto better things.

Condolences to the family .

Speng RIP . We will never forget you 💔🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

Our managing partner attended this fabulous event last night organised by Women in the Law UK held at the Midland Hotel in Manchester . Great food , amazing company and amazing inspirational speakers . Big thanks to founder Sally Penni for organising this and keeping the room in order ( with a hand bell 😂) . Sharon had a chat with Lady Hale herself and the Hon Mrs justice Cheema-Gribbon . Wow . Inspired . 🙌🏼🙌🏽 This is a fabulous organisation with incredible events and quality senior professional speakers.
