An excellent result at trial yesterday secured by Wakash Waheed. 3 years of litigation, a 4-day trial listing, allegations of harassment, substantial disrepair, and challenges to the validity of a Section 8 notice. This one had its fair share of plot twists.
The Court granted possession, awarded substantial rent arrears, rejected the entirety of the harassment allegations, rejected the majority of the disrepair claim, and ordered the tenant to pay the majority of our clientโs costs.
