P*P, also known as Personal Contract Purchases, is becoming the newest type of financial miss-selling. For example, some car dealerships offer customers the ability to purchase a vehicle under credit. However, the dealership does not explain that the loan they will be receiving will accumulate a high amount of interest.

These loans can lead to the customer paying more for the vehicle in comparison to if the customer purchased that vehicle using hired-purchase.
