On the 26th of February and 12th March, Lancaster University Law Clinic ran drop-in clinics at Olive Branch Foodbank. We offered a range of free legal advice on different areas of law including Family Law, Contract Disputes, Consumer Disputes, Education Law, Property Law, Wills and Probate, Small Claims, and Employment Law.

This experience offered a unique opportunity for the students to put their legal knowledge into practice while making a positive impact within the local community.

We are grateful to the Olive Branch Foodbank for helping us operate this event and to everyone who attended the clinic. This drop-in clinic reinforced our commitment to provide accessible legal support and community engagement. For our student volunteers, it was a reminder of why they chose to study law—to help people and make a positive impact. One of our students discusses in more detail what their experience was.
