We are delighted to welcome Sadie Storrie to Greenwoods. Sadie joins our Conveyancing team as a Conveyancing Assistant.

After working in Residential Conveyancing for three years Sadie took a break to pursue a degree focussing on her hobby, video game art. Having realised that she preferred to keep this strictly as a hobby we are lucky that she chose us as her step back into the world of Conveyancing.

In her spare time Sadie loves going to gigs and festivals, drawing, putting an absurd number of hours into video games, and spending time with her fiancé and cats.

Sadie becomes the first member of the Greenwoods to have a colour photo because that hair is just fantastic!

Online fraudsters are becoming increasingly sophisticated, using emails that look genuine, urgent and convincing. They often pretend to be trusted professionals, including solicitors, to pressure you into sending money quickly.

Here’s the most important thing to remember: A LEGITIMATE SOLICITOR WILL NEVER EMAIL YOU OUT OF THE BLUE ASKING YOU TO TRANSFER FUNDS. EVER.

If you receive an unexpected message about payments, bank details, or “urgent” transfers:

• Stop — don’t click links or open attachments
• Check — contact your solicitor using a verified phone number or website
• Confirm — ensure any request is genuine before taking action

Your money and personal information are valuable. Cybercriminals know that, and they rely on speed and panic. Taking a moment to verify could save you thousands.

Stay alert. Stay secure. And if something feels off, it probably is.

Although Glastonbury is not taking place this year, thanks to the support of the FML team, we will once again bring live DJ sets and an all-local team together to deliver a free, vibrant and inclusive community event in the heart of the town. 🏰

We are also looking for volunteers to assist with the safe running of the event. Any members who can spare a few hours to support this fantastic community event would be very welcome. ❤️
