Meet the expert: Kate Knapton.

As Partner in our Employment team, Kate specialises in:

• Managing discipline and grievances in the workplace
• Employment Tribunal
• Discrimination and whistleblowing

She brings over 15 years’ experience advising and supporting clients across a wide range of workplace matters.

Originally qualifying as a HR Manager, Kate worked in both the public and private sectors before retraining as a solicitor following a keen interest in the law.

She uses her extensive knowledge of the working world to provide practical, commercially focused advice and support to her clients.

As conversations around mental health take centre stage this week, we’re proud to share our commitment to supporting an incredible charity that not only provides vital support to families who have lost a loved one to su***de but also plays an important role in su***de prevention.

Sadly, this is a cause that has become personal to us. The compassion, care and guidance Mysterious minds has recently shown to one of our colleagues during an incredibly difficult time following the loss of a loved one has been nothing short of outstanding.

Over the coming months, Sophie will be raising funds and awareness through a series of activities, including a bake sale at the office, a family fun day, and by participating in the charity’s annual bridge walk.

We know that conversations around su***de can be difficult, but they are so important. By supporting Mysterious Minds, we hope to help ensure that more people who are facing mental health challenges can access the help and intervention they need.
