Legal Secretary – Private Client Department
We are seeking an organised and proactive Legal Secretary to join our busy Private Client Department. The role will involve providing administrative and secretarial support to fee earners dealing with wills, probate, LPAs, trusts, and estate administration matters.

Key Responsibilities
• Audio and copy typing of legal documents and correspondence
• Managing diaries, appointments, and client meetings
• Opening and maintaining client files in accordance with compliance procedures
• Liaising with clients, courts, financial institutions, and third parties
• Handling telephone enquiries and general administrative duties
• Assisting fee earners with day-to-day case management

Requirements
• Previous legal secretarial experience, ideally within Private Client
• Strong typing and IT skills, including Microsoft Office
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Professional and empathetic manner with clients
• Ability to manage workload efficiently and work as part of a team
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality at all times

Experience with case management systems and digital dictation would be advantageous.
Salary dependent on experience.

It’s hard to believe it’s been nearly three years since we moved into our new offices at Marina Court — time has truly flown by!

We couldn’t be more delighted with the move. The feedback from clients and visitors has been exceptional, and it’s been fantastic to see how well the space supports our team and our work.

Being part of such a thriving area of the city has made a real difference, and the convenience of parking right outside is an added bonus for both our team and our visitors.

Here’s to many more successful years at Marina Court!

We are delighted to share a special moment from our Easter fundraising efforts, where our Partner and Head of Private Client, Paul Dimbleby, selected at random the winner of our Giant (1KG) Easter Egg competition.

The Easter egg was kindly provided by Dove House Hospice, and thanks to the generosity of everyone who took part, we are proud to have raised £202 for them.
