Ever feel like your emotions are a lively bunch, energetically bouncing on a trampoline, high, low, and everywhere in between?

Trust me, we've all been there - caught in a whirlwind that feels endlessly turbulent.

But remember, storms don't last forever. Whether it's your mental health, relationship woes, work pressures, parenting challenges, or anything else that's jostling your peace - take a moment.

Reach out to someone, scribble down your thoughts, wander in the park, or simply breathe.

Remember, there's no one-size-fits-all remedy, so find what soothes your soul.

Though it may seem relentless now, it will get better, you’re stronger than you think 💛

👋 You're not alone. Change, as we know, can be daunting and when it comes to our loved ones, the impact can feel even more profound. Perhaps you're going through a separation, working out children's arrangements, or working through issues that have arisen out of the blue. It's tough, and it's okay to admit that. 🆗

🔜 Here's something to remember: Transition periods are just that - they're a passage from one state to another. They won't last forever, even if it feels that way right now.

🤝 Remember, we're here to support you through these tough times. Don't be afraid to ask for help ... it’s the first step to better times.

Ever felt like you're racing against the clock, juggling life, work, and everything in between? Trust me, I've been there, repeating the mantra 'I just don't have enough time'. But let's hit pause on that for a moment. 🚫⏰

The reality is, we shape our time and how we use it. To illustrate, I'm crafting this message while travelling by train - making the most of the journey, rather than merely watching the world whisk by.

Life is about perspective. My son had been asking me to learn chess for ages, and my usual response was, 'I'd love to, but I haven't had the time to learn the rules.' But one day, while waiting for an appointment, I used my 'waiting time' to flip that script. I pulled out my phone, read the rules of chess, and since then, I've had a few games with my son. I've lost every single one of them, but hey, I've managed to impress a 12-year-old - that's worth celebrating, right? 🎉

Einstein once said, 'Time is an illusion.' But for us mere mortals, let's say we create our time. So, how will you craft yours today?

They often say 'get comfortable with being uncomfortable'. It may sound paradoxical, right?

We spend our whole lives striving for comfort, so why on earth would we seek out discomfort? Because stepping beyond our comfort zone is where real growth happens! It's where I found my strength, tackling public speaking, learning to set boundaries, and embracing the world of social media. And believe it or not, these same challenges often present themselves in family law.

Whether you're standing up for your rights, setting new boundaries in your life, or navigating the digital landscape of legal proceedings, remember that stepping out of your comfort zone is a leap towards your future. And in this leap, you're not alone - our family law practice is here to support and guide you every step of the way.

Let's embrace the discomfort, and journey towards growth, together. 💪

We often hear, 'I'd rather give my money to you than my ex.' We understand the emotions fuelling this statement, but our priority is to be your friendly, supportive, and compassionate ally during this challenging time.

The process of a relationship breakdown is undeniably tough, filled with anger, sadness, and pain. It's natural to experience these emotions, but when they take over, it becomes difficult to make rational decisions and find happiness.

Our approach at LNJ Law is to help you heal and mend your life with understanding and self-compassion, rather than focusing on resentment. We prioritise the well-being of everyone involved, especially the children, and work towards finding constructive solutions that benefit the entire family.

If you come to us with the mindset of 'giving your money to us instead of your ex,' we'll gently remind you of the importance of addressing the situation with empathy and open-mindedness. Our mission is to guide you through this challenging period, emphasizing rebuilding, healing, and growth, rather than dwelling on the past. Ultimately, your peace of mind and the happiness of your family matter more to us than any financial gain.

I often hear my clients be self-deprecating and put themselves down. I hear myself telling them they should change how they speak about themself.

When a relationship breaks down you can feel like a failure but that really isn’t true. The reasons for a relationship breaking down can be because of so vast that there’s no single point. There are usually cracks in the relationship somewhere.

We get so used to blaming ourselves when things don’t go right and our internal dialogue becomes so negative and defeatist. This can be from anything to do with relationships, work or parenting

So don’t say out loud ‘ I’m rubbish’, ‘ I’m dense - I’ll never get this’ and ‘ I wouldn’t be able to do that’ because if you are saying these things out loud I bet what you are telling yourself is even worse.

I accept that you do need to own your mistakes, take responsibility for your actions and be realistic but do it with compassion - you’ll be surprised how better you are fair when you are not berating yourself.

Meet Minaxi

For over 20 years, I have been helping families to navigate through family disputes.

Families are the core of our society and therefore when things start to break down, whether it's separation, divorce, dissolution, finances, or children matters, it impacts every member of the household. I founded LNJ Law to support families through this difficult journey, enabling them to rebuild their lives with strength and confidence.

As a solution-driven solicitor and accredited resolution specialist, I’m a huge believer in promoting a constructive approach to finding equitable solutions – and if the court process becomes inevitable, there are ways in which I can make this easier and manageable for you and your family.

Disputes can start to affect every area of your life; alongside the legal process, I can also advise and refer you to additional resources that can help you to start piecing your life together, whether you need a financial expert, personal coach or health and wellbeing support.

With me, you will always have a specialist family solicitor on your side who understands that the path to moving forward can be challenging, but with the right support, every hurdle can be overcome.

After all, family matters.
