Whilst we often share updates about Hayward Moon, we have never really introduced the people behind the business.

So, here we are...

The Hayward Moon Directors: Mark, Nick, Jo, Lucy, Julia and Denise!

Between us, we have many years of experience in property law, but what we are most proud of isn't the number of years, files or transactions. It is the relationships we have built, the people we have worked alongside, and the trust that our clients continue to place in us.

Hayward Moon has always been about people. Supporting our teams, helping our clients through some of life’s biggest milestones, and building lasting relationships within the communities we serve.

We are incredibly proud of what Hayward Moon has become, and grateful to every member of our team, every client, and every introducer who has been part of the journey so far.

Happy 60th Birthday, Mark!

20 years ago, Mark Hayward founded Hayward Moon with a vision to create a different kind of law firm. One built on exceptional client service, strong relationships and a genuine commitment to its people. From those early beginnings, the business has grown into the seven-office firm we are proud to be today.

Throughout this week, our teams across the offices have been finding their own ways to mark Mark's "big" birthday, complete with cake, decorations, laughter and plenty of stories!

Anyone who knows Mark will know that he is much more than the founder of the firm. He is a mentor, a leader, a problem solver, a role model and, for many of us, the first person we turn to when we need advice. His passion for the business remains as strong as ever, and his drive, knowledge and commitment continue to inspire those around him every day.

Quite simply, Hayward Moon would not be what it is without him.

So, on behalf of everyone at Hayward Moon, we would like to wish Mark a very happy 60th birthday and thank him for everything he has done, and continues to do, for the firm, our clients and our team.

Here's to the next chapter for the man, the myth, the legend! Happy Birthday, Mark!

The Hayward Moon team enjoyed hosting some of the wonderful team from Fenn Wright at Skylark Vineyard for a vineyard tour, w**e tasting and pizza.

It was great to step away from our inboxes for a few hours and get to know each other properly. While we work closely together every day helping clients move home, nothing beats a face-to-face conversation.

Strong professional relationships make for better communication, smoother transactions and ultimately happier clients, so evenings like this are always time well spent.

Thank you to Skylark Vineyard for looking after us so well and to everyone who came along. It was a fantastic evening.

Our team had a fantastic time volunteering at the annual Histon B**r Festival!

And, of course, they didn’t go alone… Mr Chattels was there to lend a helping hand (and apparently sample a few too many drinks! 👀). Safe to say, our Hayward Moon mascot managed to outdrink the entire team - although we’re not quite sure how he was still standing by the end!

A brilliant event, great atmosphere and lots of fun. Cheers to everyone who made it such a success!

A different kind of masterpiece at Hayward Moon!

Our Ipswich team recently swapped property transactions for paintbrushes as they got together for a Sip & Paint evening to celebrate the end of the quarter.

With plenty of w**e, pizza and creativity flowing, the team produced some genuinely fantastic masterpieces - although I’m not sure we have discovered our next generation of professional artists just yet!

It was a brilliant opportunity to step away from the day-to-day, relax and, most importantly, spend some quality time together outside of the office.

Events like this are a great reflection of the culture we are building at Hayward Moon - hardworking, collaborative and professional, but also a team that knows how to have fun and enjoy each other’s company.

A great way to round off the quarter. Well done, Ipswich!
