This is a lime rendering project carried out some time ago, the property is located on the edge of Exmoor.

We removed the old sand and cement render and repaired the damaged Cob beneath. We then re-rendered using traditional lime render. The final picture was taken prior to the property being redecorated using breathable paints.

At this local property, the retaining garden wall had collapsed into the road due to storm damage. We were tasked to rebuild the wall. The wall design was by Mike Hooper (structural engineer).

The stone was sourced locally at Hearson quarry and the mortar used was a traditional Lime mix.

Almost time to call this project finished! The last touches are coming together beautifully, and the space has been transformed. As our client is a keen sailor, we suggested creating a circular feature to look like a porthole. This also ties the property in nicely being in a seaside town.

On a sand and cement feature wall the client wanted to fit a sink. To hide the services and pipework we needed to plaster the wall. We removed the old sand and cement and replastered using traditional lime plaster. The feature was then repointed with a lime mortar. This renovation is looking fantastic! The client is especially pleased with the fine detailing in Kieran’s work.

We’ve added these conservation skylight windows to a building in Ilfracombe. The difference is incredible. From the outside they blend seamlessly with the slate roof, but inside they flood the space with natural light and open up the whole room. 🌤️

Sometimes it’s the little changes that make the biggest impact – and this one has completely transformed the feel of the space.
