We are sorry to hear the news that Whitbread is planning to close its Beefeater and Brewers Fayre restaurants, including the Beefeater on Marsh Lane, as the company shifts its focus towards its hotel business.

This change is expected to result in a significant number of job losses across the hospitality sector, with many hardworking staff members and families in our local community affected.

We know that for those impacted, this can be a worrying and uncertain time.
