Planning early is essential. Think of LPAs like car insurance, you have it just in case you need it but if you don’t have it and have an accident, it is already too late.

Lasting Powers of Attorney allow you to appoint someone to act on your behalf if you ever lose capacity. There are various reasons why an LPA could be beneficial, not just the obvious age related illnesses.

The only wrong time to start thinking about your planning is when it’s too late!
