Relationships change. But your Will won't – unless you change it.

A daughter had been specifically excluded from her father's Will when they were estranged. Years later, they reconnected – but his Will was never updated.
Following his death, she successfully brought a claim against his estate.
It's a useful reminder that an old Will may still be valid while no longer reflecting the reality of your life, relationships or wishes.
And claims against estates aren't decided simply on what seems "fair". The Court looks at the evidence, individual financial circumstances and whether reasonable financial provision has been made.
