Meet our team👋

This is Catherine Donworth, Solicitor and Director.

Catherine joined TMJ in April 2016 as a Paralegal and began her Training Contract shortly afterwards. She qualified as a Solicitor in April 2018 and now specialises in Wills, Powers of Attorney, Court of Protection, Probate and Trust work.

She also deals with a range of conveyancing matters and is an accredited member of The Association of Lifetime Lawyers.

In February 2024, Catherine became part of TMJ’s management team as Director.

As part of our 40th anniversary celebrations, we’re continuing our staff Q&A series with Lyn Ryan, Solicitor and Head of Personal Injury.

Lyn joined TMJ in 1995 as a trainee solicitor, qualifying in 1997, and has worked in the Personal Injury Department ever since. Over the years, she has also become a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers and an accredited member of the Law Society’s Personal Injury Scheme.

In her Q&A, Lyn talks about what a typical day looks like, what she enjoys most about helping injured clients, and why she believes TMJ has reached 40 years in business.

For Lyn, one of the firm’s strengths is its “enthusiastic, committed and reliable team of staff”, alongside the approachable, friendly service and strong North East roots that clients value.

After an incredible 33 years with TMJ Legal Services, Ann Wilson has retired 🎉

During her career, Ann has helped thousands of people buy and sell property in and around Hartlepool, building long-standing relationships with clients who returned to her time and again.

Her experience and knowledge will be greatly missed, but so will her charisma, positivity and the energy she brought to the office every day.

The office certainly won’t be the same without Ann, although it may be a little quieter!
