Today we had a reminder of “why we do it” sitting in Tilbury Asda car park catching our breathe with a drink and sandwich a guy knocked on the window and to our surprise it was P who had been a visitor to our Friday soup kitchens. He saw the van and wanted to say hi and show us the “new P” very smart lost weight looking well a place to live and job with the NHS and he said “I just wanted to say a massive thank you for all you guys did for me at my lowest as you can see I’m off my knees and back on my feet because of your support and encouragement”!!

So nice to see him and even nicer to hear his kind words but as we said said our goodbyes he slipped £40 into our hand saying “this is for you to help others like me down on their luck as you and your charity are amazing” An incredibly kind gesture thank you P you really are a success story and we are honoured and humbled to of been part of your rise back up………..Much Love Team FOELH 💖
