Our Backgrounds - Philip spent 25 years in the Royal Navy and has been refurbishing & lettings houses since 1999. He is a fully qualified electrician with a BSc(Hons) in Business and Masters in Management. Juliette spent 20 years in corporate sales, marketing and accounts management in multi-national firms. Juliette studied Philosophy at University and holds a Masters degree. We conduct our property and lettings business on an ethical basis. What we look for in our tenants is people that we can trust and that want to make our properties their long term homes. If you look after them accordingly and conduct routine maintenance then we in turn will ensure that all non-routine maintenance is conducted professionally and promptly. All tenancies are initially 6 months to ensure that both landlord and tenant are content, after that, greater tenancies (24month +) can be agreed. For all individuals who are over 18 and to live in the property, credit and reference checks are required. Affordability checks are required for the ‘lead’ tenant who will be paying the monthly invoice. If there is to be a guarantor, they are also subject to the same checks. Poor credit is not necessarily a ‘show-stopper’ – as long as there is transparency, honesty, reasonable income and references, a tenancy can generally be negotiated.
