2026 is the year to move from intention to action. My next drop in at Brockworth Community centre is April 2nd, 11 til 1. If your intention this year is to update an old Will or put a Will in place for the first time, come along and have a chat or book in for an appointment with me. Let’s get this done.

We are coming to Brockworth Community Centre this Friday 19th September from 11am to 1pm. Drop in and find out about why you need a Will and what happens if you don’t have one. Pick up information leaflets about guardians for your children, trusts, powers of attorney and how to include your business in your a Will.

We are upstairs in the meeting room, just ask at reception and they will show you the way. See you on Friday or if not this Friday then look out for the next dates.

News about the fee for registration of your Lasting Powers of Attorney.

If you are thinking of putting your Lasting Powers of Attorney in place, you may want to do so before the fee increases. This increase is for each LPA and is on top of the fee you pay to the professional drafting your LPA for you.

The fee to register a Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA) in England and Wales increases from £82 to £92 on November 17, 2025. Applications received by the Office of the Public Guardian (OPG) on or after this date will be charged the new fee of £92. Reduced fees are available for individuals on certain benefits, and a 50% remission applies if their income before tax is less than £12,000 per year.

As standard practice we register all Wills drafted by us with the National Will Register for no added cost. This ensures your Will can be located at the time it is needed.
You can register yours if it’s not been drafted by us by following the below link and using the code FREEWILLREG25 until 16th June.

Register a will with The National Will Register, the UK's will registration and will search service, with over 10.5 million wills registered.
