** Law Review Committee Applications **
Hello everyone,
Applications are now open for the remaining positions on the Law review Committee for 2021-22.
All applications should be sent to the Editor-In-Chief via email – [email protected]
Applications will be accepted until 10pm on the 20th December.
Please see the available positions below and details for applications.
Please Note: if you would like to apply for both positions, please send in two separate applications (i.e. one for Deputy and one for Subject Editor).
Applications are open to and encouraged from all year groups.
* Deputy Editor *
The Deputy Editor will act as the Law Review’s second in command and will play an active role in the running and administration of the Law Review, working closely with the Editor-In-Chief.
This role will include aiding the Editor-In-Chief in overseeing the overall editing process and production of this year’s journal, as well as the running of the committee’s other projects throughout the year.
Applicants should have great communication and teamwork skills, and the drive needed to make this year’s journal the best one yet. Other desirable qualities include strong leadership, excellent organisation, and a friendly/approachable manner.
To apply, please submit 500 words on why you would like to undertake this role, what you think you can bring to the society, and any ideas or suggestions you would like to implement over the course of the academic year.
Please include ‘Law Review – Deputy Editor’ in the subject line of your email.
* Subject Editors *
Subject Editors will be primarily responsible for editing any essays submitted to their specific subject area, as well as helping with the other various projects undertaken throughout the year. These individuals will also play a key role in brainstorming ideas for future projects and feeding back to the Editor-In-Chief.
Successful applicants will have good attention to detail, teamwork skills, and the ability to work to deadlines.
If you feel you could be an asset to the committee, please have a think about which subject area you would like to edit for. A full list of subject areas can be found below. Please include both a first and second choice of subject in your application.
