Go on Lindsay!! 👏💪

This weekend, our Director and resident superhero Lindsay Hare will be embarking on an epic 100km challenge!

Spanning five days through the Jurassic Coast in Dorset, Lindsay will be joining Giovanna Fletcher, Emma Willis, and more for CoppaFeel! - all for raising awareness of breast cancer in young people.

Over the past few weeks, Lindsay has been hard at work training and fundraising - already completing a massive 60km over two days of the Glasgow Kiltwalk, Hyrox challenges, and holding race nights - raising over £10k so far and counting!

We couldn't be prouder of all she's achieved so far, and the whole firm are behind her as she begins this extraordinary challenge.

After more than a year of planning and fundraising, we were delighted to welcome Cardiac Risk in the Young to GTG Training to hold yesterday's heart screening event in Glasgow.

Across the day, we brought together employees from Gildeas Solicitors, the GTG team, and members of the public all for potentially life-saving cardiac screening.

This event was for a cause incredibly close to our hearts.
Held in memory of Ashwin Bali, we were proud to have worked closely with the Bali family and friends to honour Ashwin and help raise further awareness of the importance of early cardiac screening in young people.

In total, 103 young people were screened on the day.

This was an incredibly important initiative for everyone involved and we’re grateful to all those who helped make it happen, from the organisers and volunteers, to the medical professionals delivering the screenings.

A sincere thank you to Cardiac Risk in the Young for the vital work they do across the UK, and to all at GTG Glasgow for hosting the event and supporting such an important cause.
