Courts update

All criminal court cases (except custody trials and new custodies) in the Lothians and Borders will be adjourned without anyone having to attend until the Government lockdown is reviewed in three weeks time.
We will deal with the administration of all of our court business on behalf of our client’s and we will continue to work from home in the preparation of each case.

COVID19 and the Courts
SELKIRK Sheriff Court are turning ALL accused away from court today in a shift of policy. All jury trials have already been postponed. It is likely that most summary trials will be postponed as well. At the time of writing custody trials are to continue, but this might also change in the coming days.
