Today the firm’s founder, Kelly Bruton, has been celebrating a very special milestone - 15 years since she qualified as a solicitor 🎉 From starting out in private practice, to taking the leap to self-employment, and eventually founding Lotus Family Law two years ago - it’s been a journey full of growth, challenges and lots of learning. Kelly has always specialised in family law, and she’s so proud to support people through some of life’s toughest moments with empathy, experience and honest advice. We are excited to announce that Flavia Lamia has joined Lotus Family Law as a consultant solicitor.

Flavia is a dedicated solicitor with a strong focus on family law specialising in divorce, child arrangements, and complex financial settlements.

Her expertise also extends to immigration law, particularly spouse visa applications and appeals. In addition to her family and immigration work, Flavia has a special focus on Will drafting. She provides clients with clear and personalised guidance, ensuring their wishes are accurately reflected and legally sound. Flavia’s experience in drafting Wills helps individuals protect their loved ones and avoid potential disputes.

Flavia’s commitment to supporting vulnerable individuals is also evident in her volunteer work at the Rights of Women charity, where she offers legal advice to women, particularly those affected by domestic abuse.

Her compassionate approach combined with her legal expertise, ensures that clients feel empowered and supported throughout their legal journey.
