I can’t thank Sabina Minnis enough for their help.

They were attentive, transparent, and genuinely cared about finding the right fit for me.

The communication was excellent from start to finish, and I felt supported every step of the way.

In this current job market, or whenever you’re doing a job search, it is quite hard to stay motivated, especially with frequent rejections or painful application processes but Sabina does not let up and is constantly in touch. It is the support you need at that time.

Not only that but with each job, if relocation is needed, she finds relevant flats (appropriate for pay).

Going above and beyond! She also negotiates on your behalf or fights your corner if the initial reaction wasn’t a great one. 10/10 recommend!

We did it!!! A huge thank you to all the incredible people who braved the cold to support Abby’s Heroes.

A special shoutout to Sarah Whitemore and the team at Warner Goodman LLP, along with Pamela Broad, for organising this unforgettable event at Andark Lake. With bobble hats on and smiles all round, we took the plunge into 11.8-degree water — and “refreshing” doesn’t even begin to cover it!

Together, we raised an amazing £6,000 for a fantastic cause helping families of children with cancer.

What a day on the South Coast for the 2M Legal team!

Sabina’s been out and about in Port Solent and Chichester, fuelled almost entirely by caffeine.

Checking with a newly placed candidate (still loving the new role – always a win!),
meeting with clients,
and networking over bacon sandwiches.

Bonus moment of the day: helping a fabulous 70-something master the art of the parking meter so she can go to her birthday lunch with her friend.

Recruitment skills really do transfer!

Now She's back at Locks Heath HQ for a caffeine top-up and to plan the next round of catch-ups.

So my first wild swim! Testing the water before my charity swim for Abby's Heroes.

Abby's Heroes support the families of children with cancer.

Having a child on a hospital ward can cost families an extra £750 per month.

🎸 Why context matters, especially in recruitment.

Picture this:

It’s the 1970's. You’re at a punk gig in a student union.
The band’s screaming “IEI!” into the mic.
The crowd’s wild. A riot breaks out.
It’s messy, loud, unforgettable.

Fast forward to today.
Same song.
But now it’s playing in a polished venue to a crowd of middle-aged fans sipping craft beer.

Still good , but not quite the same, right?

That’s the power of context.

And it’s exactly what’s missing from most CVs.

You see the job titles. The dates. The bullet points.

But you don’t hear the passion.

You don’t feel the energy.

You don’t know what it meant to them at the time.

To really understand someone’s story, you need to hear it from them.

Because that spark, that riot-starting energy, comes from within.

That’s why interviews (or even a quick discovery call) are so important.

Not everything translates well on a CV.

Sometimes, you need to hear the story behind the bullet point.

Otherwise, it’s just punk in a civilised environment, and you’re left wondering what all the fuss was about.
