Great news for mediation in Devon!
Devon Mediation Service and Northern Devon Community Mediation Announce Merger to Strengthen Support Across the Region
Two of the South West’s most trusted community mediation charities have joined forces to create a stronger, more unified service for communities across Devon, Cornwall, and Somerset.
Devon Mediation Service and Northern Devon Community Mediation have officially merged, combining decades of experience and expertise to deliver a consolidated mediation and conflict resolution service to individuals and communities across the region.
Richard Cohen, Chair of Devon Mediation Service said:
“This is an exciting milestone for both organisations. By bringing our teams together, we can reach more people, reduce duplication, and ensure that anyone in Devon, Cornwall or Somerset who need mediation support can access it quickly and easily.”
“We share the same values and the same commitment to helping people resolve disputes with dignity and respect. Together, we will be able to make an even greater difference to the communities we serve.”
The merged organisation will continue to offer community and workplace mediation across the three counties.
Both charities have a long-standing reputation for quality and impartiality and receive their referrals from individuals, Devon and Cornwall Police, Councils and Housing Associations. All existing staff, volunteers and services will continue without interruption.
