Everyone at Goodwin Malatesta wishes you all a Merry Christmas and best wishes for the New-Year!

Again, we have decided not to send Christmas Cards but to make a charity donation, this year to the British Heart Foundation (www.bhf.org.uk) whose vision is a world free from the fear of heart disease, an illness that sadly touches very many families. The British Heart Foundation funds around £100 million of research each year into all heart and circulatory diseases and what causes them. We are honoured to give our support to the British Heart Foundation and the excellent research they fund.

After 16 amazing and successful years in Epping, Goodwin Malatesta Legal Costs Services are moving home!

From 28 February 2022 Goodwin Malatesta will be based at Unit 14, Ongar Business Centre, The Gables, Fyfield Road, Ongar, Essex CM5 0GA.

Epping has been a great home for us but now is the time to move to a location better equipped for the challenges of modern office working. We are look forward to many successful years based in our new Ongar home! After 16 amazing and successful years in Epping, Goodwin Malatesta Legal Costs Services are moving home!

Thank you to everyone at Chelmsford City Racecourse for such a wonderful day and it was the ideal occasion for our excellent Goodwin Malatesta team to get together again after so many months apart working from home!

Scott O’Rourke joins Goodwin Malatesta and Kevin Thurley retires!

April has seen two major changes to the Goodwin Malatesta team, with Scott O’Rourke joining us from Kain-Knight and Kevin Thurley’s retirement.

We are very proud to welcome Scott to our team and he brings many years of legal costs experience including 12 years at Kain-Knight and 13 years at Masters before that.
Scott is an excellent addition to our team and he will focus largely on the opposition of claims for costs in clinical negligence proceedings, an area of costs law in which he has built a reputation over many years as one of the most experienced and knowledgeable Costs Lawyers in that field of expertise. Scott will also be assisting in costs budgeting and the preparation of points of dispute in commercial litigation.

Scott will very much be taking on the baton passed to him by Kevin following his retirement. Kevin has been a valued member of our team since he joined Goodwin Malatesta in July 2010 and the partners and staff all wish him a wonderful retirement. Whilst his presence in the office will be greatly missed, we are extremely pleased to announce that Kevin will continue to be part of our team as a consultant and thus we will still be able to turn to him for his expert knowledge of legal costs and Tottenham Hotspur!
