Well… this one didn’t get off to the best start! 😂📱

Our first set of viewers were completely stood up after a mobile was accidentally left behind in Brighton, typically nobody was in the office to answer the calls (they were later viewings!) and we had a handful of lovely people waiting to see the property. 😬

Cue many, MANY apologies — thankfully everyone was incredibly understanding and, rather wonderfully, told us that because we have such a good reputation, they knew something must have gone very wrong. 🥹❤️

Thankfully, the story has a very happy ending! 🏡✨

We’re absolutely thrilled to have let this very quietly located one-bedroom flat to the fantastic Kim — an absolute ray of sunshine on a rainy Thursday morning! ☀️ We already know she and her new neighbour are going to get on famously.

Kim loved the property, and we couldn’t be happier for her. We hope she has a wonderful time making it her new home. 🥰🔑

✈️ Chamber Airbourne Lunch! ✈️

Eastbourne Unltd Chamber of Commerce sponsored by Lightning Fibre Airbourne: Eastbourne International Airshow lunch is always an event we love attending — especially as big fans of Airbourne! 💙

It was a little quieter than usual this year, but that certainly didn’t stop us having a brilliant time. We enjoyed another delicious carvery in the Artisan Restaurant at The View Hotel Eastbourne, with the added luxury of south facing balconies giving us the perfect front-row seats to watch the incredible pilots and planes doing their thing! ✈️🛩️

It was also Luke Shevels first engagement as Chamber of Commerce President, and we think he did a fantastic job! 👏 Well done, Luke!

A big thank you to Custard Design & Print too for the fabulous raffle prize we won — always nice to have a little bit of luck on your side! 🎉

And WOW… it’s been hot this year! 🔥 Probably the hottest Airbourne we can remember. But we’d better make the most of it — before we know it, we’ll all be moaning that it’s cold, wet and dark again! 😂

📸 It’s not every day we get to photograph one of our happy landlords. Rightly so, they’re nowhere to be seen, that’s why we are here… but when we do, we make the most of it! 😄

When our landlord’s family members moved on from their second property, they wanted one thing… a quick, hassle-free let. So they handed us the keys, headed off to enjoy the Cypriot sunshine, and left the rest to us! ☀️🔑

🐾🌊 WHISKY IS OFFICIALLY A BEACHY HEAD AMBASSADOR! 🌊🐾

When we spotted the Beachy Head Ambassadors Dogs, we couldn’t get up there quick enough! 🐶💨

Beachy Head has always been one of our favourite places in Eastbourne. We’ve enjoyed countless walks here over the years with Binx, so now Whisky has been introduced to the area and he was VERY proud to collect his official ambassador bandana yesterday! 🥰🐾

And with great bandanas come great responsibilities… 😜

Whisky has pledged to:
🐕 Stay on his lead where needed
🐾 Give plenty of space to other dogs
💙 Wear his ambassador bandana with pride
🌿 Help protect this incredible place we’re lucky enough to call our backyard

And as his responsible human, we promise to always pick up his business (yes, ALL of it! 💩😂), help him walk responsibly and do my bit to protect Beachy Head.

It’s so important that we all lead by example. Dog mess can negatively affect the precious chalk grassland, abandoned bags don’t magically disappear (sadly!), and dog mess can attract predators that put nesting birds at risk. 🐦

Keeping dogs on leads around the cliff edges is also incredibly important for their safety, as well as protecting ground-nesting birds and helping to avoid encounters with adders. 🐍

Beachy Head Ambassadors are also doing a brilliant job welcoming visitors, answering questions and helping everyone enjoy this very special part of Eastbourne. There are loads of FREE activities too, including group walks, yoga, silent discos, history talks and so much more! 🎶🧘‍♀️🚶‍♀️

So, with this fabulous weather, why not get yourself up to Beachy Head? ☀️🌊

Just remember: walk responsibly, pick up after your dog, give others space and help us all protect this beautiful place. 💙

We spend most of our time looking around properties… this time we got to look behind the walls of one of Eastbourne’s most iconic buildings instead! 🏡🎨

Thanks to Friends of Eastbourne Seafront, we enjoyed an incredible behind-the-scenes tour of the Towner Eastbourne. From the fascinating art store (where the hidden treasures live!) to the cinema, Light at Towner restaurant (definitely worth a visit! 🍽️), and the thought-provoking Comrades in Art: Artists Against Fascism exhibition, we discovered there’s so much more to the Towner than meets the eye.

A huge thank you to Deputy Director Niamh Pearce for such an informative and engaging tour, and to the Towner and Friends of Eastbourne Seafront for the invitation. We learned so much about the building’s history, its beginnings at Gildredge Park, and the legacy of Eric Ravilious.
