There’s no need to book - just turn up on the day - with or without fancy dress - but we “might” be more generous with our 70's treats for those embracing the “Vintage” theme!

What a fantastic weekend we had as we welcomed the community into our walled garden, tucked behind our High Street offices in Dorking.

Visitors came to see the carefully restored garden which has many original heritage features, including historic brick doors and windows and a layout that speaks to its Victorian past.

Though small, this walled garden is a peaceful retreat and a perfect example of how heritage and community can come together in a space of beauty and reflection.

The garden and associated artworks were featured as part of an exhibition curated by the RSA – Augmented Society Network, in London and at the Hive in Wi******er.

Missed out? We will be opening up our gardens again on 27th June!

View our beautifully restored Heritage Garden in Dorking this Saturday 2nd!

Hidden behind the Downs Solicitors offices on Dorking High Street is a small but beautiful walled garden, which has been lovingly restored over the past 3 yrs.

One highlight is the wisteria, estimated to be approximately 100 years old, previously hidden by years of overgrowth and now cascades across the walls, filling the garden with colour and fragrance each spring and summer alongside roses, plants, and shrubs restored and replaced so the garden is sympathetic to its late Victorian and early 20th century roots.

There is a £5 entry charge for adults (under 16s go free) and we will have tea and cakes for guests to enjoy.

Congratulations to team Tutaekuri Bay on winning the Downs Solicitors charity quiz in aid of MND Association East Surrey✨🎉

A total of 70 people in 12 teams gathered at the Java Caffe in Dorking to raise a total of £1,505 for the charity.

Well done to all our teams for giving so generously and thanks go to George at the Java Cafe who very kindly donated back the cost of the food, keeping everyone fuelled throughout!
