There are time limits for bringing personal injury claims so it is important not to assume that you can make a claim simply because you have only recently decided to seek advice.

For many personal injury claims, the general limitation period is three years from the date of the accident or, in some circumstances, from the date you had the required knowledge of your injury and its cause. There are exceptions, so the time limit can depend on the circumstances of the claim.

⚖️ Celebrating a fantastic achievement for Leonnie Watson

We’re delighted to congratulate Leonnie Watson, Child Care Solicitor at Timms, who has passed the Law Society Children’s Law Accreditation.

The accreditation formally recognises Leonnie’s knowledge, skills, experience and practice in Children’s Law and family court matters, marking another important milestone in her career.

Leonnie joined Timms in 2018 as a Family Law Paralegal, gained her training contract in 2021 and qualified as a solicitor in 2022. Today, she specialises in public law matters, supporting parents from the pre-proceedings stage through to Court proceedings where a local authority is involved.

It’s fantastic to see Leonnie’s hard work and commitment recognised, and we’re proud to support her continued development at Timms.
