"I have enjoyed living in this house. I was attracted to it because the estate is well established, with a mixture of differently designed houses rather than everything being squashed together, and there are many green spaces with flowers, shrubs and trees.

I like the position, with no busy road outside—just four houses—so it is quiet and peaceful. There is sufficient parking in front of the garage, as well as a space outside the front door.

The back garden faces south and gets the sun (when we see it!) from around 11 am until sunset. I spend many hours in the conservatory enjoying the garden, which is not overlooked and has access to the large garage with a mezzanine floor for extra storage. One corner of the garden also has a pretty dining area.

I find the house warm and economical to heat, and I enjoy the newly installed wood-burning stove. The large sitting room, with the conservatory leading off it, is a great space for entertaining, and the spacious modern kitchen with the extended dining area has plenty of workspace and storage. There is also the benefit of a separate utility room.

Upstairs, I find the house roomy and light, and I enjoy the modern bathroom.

I walk daily around the village, where there are various routes, and we have a village shop and post office about a 10-minute walk away, which is open every day. There is a fantastic butcher selling local produce, as well as a dentist and, of course, a surgery.

This is a lovely home to live in—all the things I wanted: peace and quiet, privacy, and a well-designed, spacious property."
