On Tuesday, we were delighted to host an art event in partnership with local charity, Rotherfield St Martin.
The display showcased beautiful artwork created by members of Rotherfield St Martin Art Club, inspired by the landscapes of Ashdown Forest and beyond.
A real highlight was welcoming all of the artists to see their work on display. It was a wonderful and uplifting social occasion, with plenty of smiles as they shared their creativity with one another.
We were also pleased to welcome Cllr Natalie Whittle, Mayor of Crowborough; Matt Allen, President of Crowborough and District Chamber of Commerce and Vicky Cheeseman, Charity Manager at Rotherfield St Martin.
Special thanks go to Annie Benthack, Art Teacher for the Rotherfield St Martin Art Club, whose encouragement and guidance continue to support the artists’ confidence and creativity.
The afternoon was enjoyed over tea and cakes, and despite the thunderstorms outside, the atmosphere remained warm, positive and full of community spirit.
It was especially fitting that it took place during Volunteers’ Week to celebrate the people who make moments like this possible. Rotherfield St Martin relies heavily on the dedication of its volunteers, whose time and support make such a difference in the community.
At Claire Nash Solicitors, we are proud to support Rotherfield St Martin and help highlight the important work they do within our community.
