BTTJ's 50k Challenge....
👣What are we doing?
Members of team BTTJ are donning their running shoes, getting their bikes out the garage & putting on their swimming goggles to raise money for our charity of the year Spencer’s Retreat part of The Langdale Trust. Staff members are challenging themselves to cover 50 kilometres in a week either as individuals or in teams. In a job where we are all very busy & that involves us sitting at desks for most of the day we'll have to get moving before work, on our lunch break, in the evenings & at weekends!
📍Why 50k?
The distance between our 4 offices... Coventry, Warwick, Balsall Common & Southam comes to (just under) 50 kilometres, it's not a safe walkable route to walk it literally, due to lack of footpaths & busy roads in some areas, so we are taking the distance & challenging ourselves to cover it.
💚Why are we doing it?
Spencer’s Retreat is a small charity based in Berkswell, just 5 minutes from our Balsall Common office. They a care farm, offering access to families & groups with additional & special needs creating a fun, safe and understanding environment for children. As a small charity, they rely on donations for the running & upkeep of the farm.
