Changes to Skilled Worker visa requirements could have a significant impact on both migrant workers and UK employers 🇬🇧🌏

In Suffolk News , Sohan Sidhu, Ellisons' Partner and Head of Immigration, discusses the upcoming change requiring migrant workers applying under the Skilled Worker route to meet a B2 level of English, rather than the previous B1 requirement.

This is an important shift for businesses that rely on international recruitment. Migrants will need to meet the B2 requirement at the point they apply for a Skilled Worker visa, meaning employers may need to factor this into their recruitment timelines, sponsorship planning and wider workforce strategy.
