A no contest clause, also known as an in terrorem clause, is a provision within a will which provides that if a beneficiary challenges the will, the gift left to that beneficiary is revoked, meaning they would forfeit their inheritance.

Holmes & Hills were proud to support Dementia Awareness Day at our Witham office on Saturday, raising awareness for a cause that impacts so many families in our community.

Alongside offering guidance on Wills, LPAs and dementia related legal matters, Emma Faulkner and Michelle Cochrane invited visitors to take part in a community colouring canvas inspired by the therapeutic benefits of art for people living with dementia.

The activity became a real highlight of the day, with children, families and fellow exhibitors all getting involved in helping to create a colourful piece of artwork for Dementia Action Week.

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by to chat, colour in and support the event. It was a great day, for a great cause.
