Legal Secretary – Residential Conveyancing
Location: Chesterfield – NOT HYBRID
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Hours: 32.5 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 09:30–17:00
Contract: Permanent
Kieran Clarke Green Solicitors are seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to join their busy Residential Conveyancing Department in Chesterfield.
The successful candidate will provide secretarial and administrative support to fee earners, including audio typing, handling telephone enquiries, producing legal documents, managing files, and general office administration. One day per week will include administrative duties within the accounts department, along with ad hoc reception cover.
The ideal candidate will have:
• Strong typing and administrative skills
• Experience in conveyancing (preferred but not essential – training provided)
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities
• Competency in Microsoft Office
• A proactive and flexible approach
Benefits include:
25 days annual leave + birthday off (if applicable), bank holidays, Christmas shutdown, company pension, and company events.

Today our Jennifer Wilmot is retiring from her position after 51 years of service.

Jennifer first joined Bradley and Clarke Solicitors in 1972 as an office junior. Since then she has worked her way up to become a Conveyancer working for the same company (later branded Kieran Clarke Green Solicitors). She has helped many thousands of clients achieve their dream of owning their own homes over the years she has worked here.

We would like to thank Jennifer for her absolute dedication and service to Kieran Clarke Green over the last half a decade and to wish her all the very best in her well deserved retirement!
