Our Clinical Negligence team recently acted for a client who suffered a serious and avoidable injury during a hospital admission.

Errors during IV treatment led to severe blistering and tissue damage, with our client requiring specialist burns treatment and skin graft surgery.

Following our investigations, the NHS Trust admitted that the care provided had fallen below an acceptable standard and accepted that these failings had caused our client’s injuries.

We successfully negotiated a settlement of £50,000 on their behalf.
