🚗 Mileage Allowance Increase Confirmed

The Approved Mileage Allowance Payment rate is increasing from 45p to 55p per mile for the first 10,000 business miles driven each tax year — the first rise since 2011.

For employees and business owners using their own vehicles for work, this could mean greater tax-free mileage relief from April 2026.

☀️ Great British Summer Savings: VAT cut to help families enjoy more this summer

The Government has announced a temporary VAT reduction on selected leisure and hospitality activities this summer, helping families save money on days out, meals and attractions.

From 25 June to 1 September 2026, eligible activities will see VAT reduced from 20% to 5%, including:
• Children’s meals in restaurants
• Cinema, theatre and attraction tickets
• Theme parks, soft play centres, zoos and more
