Our Forget me not Appeal has launched in style with one of our patrons, Dame Judi Dench!

‘Having seen the impact of dementia on people around me, I’m sadly all too aware of how painful, cruel and unforgiving this condition can be.

'Not only on the person affected, but their friends and family too, as dementia can turn the relationships we hold most dearly upside down. It is heart-breaking, and we must take action.

'I’m proud to wear my Forget Me Not badge and support people affected by dementia.’

In May, we ask everyone to join together and support the Forget me not Appeal to raise awareness and money for everyone living with dementia.'

Dr Deborah Lamont - may you rest in peace in the knowledge that the result of your inquest this last week will, at least, ensure South Wales police will not make the same mistake again when faced with a similar incident. Our condolescences and heart felt sympathy go out to your parents who attended the Inquest with us so bravely and with such dignity.

Gemma and Dominique from our Deputyship department had the pleasure of attending upon Linda Feagan and Rhiannon Lavis, Support Relation Officers at Dogs Trust, Bridgend today to talk about the Canine Care Card, a free scheme which could be beneficial to our dog-owning Clients.

The scheme can be put in place to ‘guarantee you peace of mind, knowing that your dog’s future will be a safe and happy one after your lifetime’. When discussing the scheme today, it was felt to not only be useful to our Wills & Probate Clients, but also our Deputyship and Lasting Power of Attorney Clients as JMD Law will always go above and beyond to ensure the safety and well-being of our Clients faithful companions.

Congratulations to Rob Thomas, a member of our Deputyship team, who cycled from Tenby to Cardiff on Sunday clocking a total of 105 miles in the saddle. Rob was initially due to complete the Carten100 on Saturday which was cancelled due to the bad weather and so opted to cycle the reverse route on Sunday to ensure he clocked his quoted mileage. Rob has raised over £600 for Stroke Association as a result of his hard work so well done Rob. If you would like to donate any more please see the link below.
