The Lucy Cavendish Law Society aims to bring together Lucy Cavendish (previous and current) law students, along with other college members interested in the law, to share their experiences and promote opportunities of Lucy Cavendish lawyers through a variety of ad hoc events. Come and join us as our careers officer, Seetal, will be hosting a panel with Lucy Alumnae: Nataliia Murashko and Emma Hopkins.

Nataliia has been an associate at HSF for almost 5 years and Emma is a current trainee. This is a great opportunity to hear from two different perspectives within the firm.

The Q&A will be open to the audience afterwards. There will also be an opportunity for refreshments and networking.

The Lucy Law Society is organising a talk with Yinsey Wang on February 13th (Today!!) at 6pm.

Yinsey Wang is an in-house lawyer at Fidelity International and she looks after the Institutional Business.

She also worked at BlackRock on strategic projects such as Brexit and on outsourced Chief Investment Officer mandates. She trained at Clifford Chance and has worked at the US firm Morrison & Foerster as well as International Law Firm Simmons & Simmons.

In her previous private practice roles, she accumulated extensive experience advising a mix of corporate, investment management and banking clients. She has been involved in various clients’ Brexit planning, regulatory projects and MiFID II implementation. In addition, she has worked on numerous international financing deals and due diligence projects.

During her session on Monday, Yinsey would be talking about the following:

- Journey so Far
- In house vs Law firm
- Guidance on building your career / CV advice

After the talk, we will have time for questions and networking.
