If you’re passing our Frodsham office this month, you may notice it has a little splash of pink.

Throughout June, Frodsham Town is turning pink in support of Prevent Breast Cancer, helping to raise awareness and funds for a cause that means so much to so many.

Our Frodsham Team were more than happy to join in and add a touch of pink to the office windows.

If you would like to support the charity, we have collection boxes inside the office and you can also scan the QR codes displayed in our windows to donate.

A big well done to everyone taking part across the town, Frodsham is looking fantastic!

Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) schemes are becoming an increasingly talked about opportunity within the farming and rural community, with many landowners considering whether environmental diversification could provide a new income stream.

However, before committing land to a BNG agreement, it is important to understand the long-term implications these schemes can have on the future use and flexibility of your land.

In this article, Rebecca Jepson, Head of our Agriculture & Rural Affairs Team, explores some of the key legal and practical considerations landowners should think about before entering into an agreement, including how BNG arrangements could impact:

🌱 future use of the land
🌱 development potential
🌱 existing tenancy arrangements
🌱 succession and estate planning
🌱 long-term land management obligations

If you are considering Biodiversity Net Gain as part of your wider farming or estate strategy, this article provides a useful overview of some of the points worth thinking about before entering into an agreement.

This Sunday, the Bramhall and Woodford Rotary Family Fun Day and Duck Race returns to Bramhall Park and it’s set to be a great day out.🦆

The Family Fun Day is an annual event, this year raising funds for the MND Association Manchester & District Branch, alongside other local charities and good causes.

A special good luck to all the entries in the Butcher & Barlow sponsored duck race, ‘Quacking Good Legal Advice – Bucher & Barlow’. We look forward to seeing those creative entries!

And of course, be sure to cheer on our very own duck entry, Captain Quack Sparrow as he attempts to paddle his way to victory.
