Meet the crew!
Every two months we hold advisor training all together so we stay up to date with current affairs and broaden and share knowledge between us.
We also have a LOT of fun at these sessions. I’m known for my quirky games- it all helps with the learning journey!
We’re blessed with the most incredible advising team! We’re one big happy family.

From left to right we have Josh, Kayleigh, Qasim, Riley ( new to the team after 4 years serving in the army ) Charlie, MBD ( as I am known!) Amy, Ali, Phoebe (who we are thrilled is moving back into advising again having been manager of our admin and drafting team for years) and finally Ollie too.
Three faces are missing -JBD - we’ll just have to photoshop him in and Chloe too who has been here since day one- who will be returning shortly after her maternity leave. Mike who has moved on to advising for other teams across the country in a huge promotion but who pops back occasionally:)
We missed them all!
Huge thank you to Rich McD for ‘shooting’ us (as he always says) for our formal ID we carry with us and some cracking team shots too which we will share over time.

Thank YOU all for being with us on this amazing journey. We’ve been so busy lately I’ve hardly found time to update socials but always know we are there for you and your families.

Please pop up and see Helen outside our Nailsea branch today to help raise money for Cancer Research UK.
Sally and Helen have made an unprecedented effort to fundraise working hours and hours behind the scenes to give your eyes a real treat.
We have teddies in hot air balloons. A wonderful teddy bears picnic to view and there is games, including guess the number of sweets in the jar and guess the name of the teddy and some lazing small some handmade trinkets you can purchase to support the charity. Plus we have a huge charity raffle to win a wonderful homemade hamper and Will!
If you can’t make it and want to make a small donation let me know and I’ll tell you how!
We want to say a huge thank you to them both but especially to Sally who has driven this with such creativity and enthusiasm! The hours she has put in we astounded by! We are lucky to have you both on board!

Pop into our Nailsea office today to celebrate the towns Turn Nailsea Pink initiative for Cancer Research UK.
Our team , special shout out to Sally has made a stirling effort to decorate our office with the teddies near picnic theme!! Just look at these teddy hot air balloons.
Today we host a coffee morning, so feel free to pop in and say hello and purchase some pink items with a small donation to the charity.

‘Feathers on Tour’
Our two special penguins ‘Tickled Pink’ and ‘A Heart of Stone’ have officially landed in our Westbury on Trym Branch for the next leg of their tour. They will be here for theee weeks.
You can pop in and have your photo taken and ask about our partnership with Wallace & Gromit's Grand Appeal leaving a legacy through your Will.
All children are welcome and can join our colouring competition and pick up some themed freebies and sweet treats. I enjoyed popping back to the Mall this week to restock on Gromit Unleashed badges and restock the winners prizes.
We are open every weekday 9-5pm and Saturday 25th 9.30-1pm.

📣 📣 -We are excited to reveal that the second Feathers McGraw statue (and other newest recruit!) is the one and only ‘Tickled Pink’.
‘Tickled Pink’ will be joining ‘Heart of Stone’ on their journey around our branches. We just love this cheeky flamingo/ penguin/chicken.

📣 Feathers on Tour… Special announcement📣

As you know we’ve spent a lot of time lately with our friends at Wallace & Gromit's Grand Appeal and Cots for Tots.

We are absolutely buzzing to share our newest team member ‘Heart of Stone’ has now joined us! 🎉

Heart of Stone and his secret friend (who will be revealed tomorrow) will be making their way around all of our offices on an exclusive Feathers McGraw Tour. They will stay together throughout their touring time with us and it will truly be a wonderful sight to see.

Over the next few months we will be promoting our legacies in Wills specifically for this incredible cause, but we intend to have a lot of fun along the way with fundraising, competitions, colouring, cakes, freebies and endless photo opportunities.

Today we have had the most amazing day filming with the team from The Grand Appeal and Cots for Tots about legacies in Wills, the scheme that we set up together to maximise fundraising for the charity. What started in covid as a bit of a trial to help boost fundraising when other avenues were tricky has to date seen over £500,000 pledged in Wills to the charity and a lasting partnership we are especially proud of. Here’s a throw back to one of my all time fave statues with my lovely mum!

Having a Safe to keep documents and precious smaller items is a must. This comes out in most of our client meetings! Many insurers now insist on it particularly with jewellery and watches.

I popped over to Thornhill Security in Kingswood today to learn about the various options of keeping things safe at home. I especially like the blue safe shown, not to mention their own ‘Bristol’ range(see photos).

We had an animated chat about the movie industry and their frequent need for safes! Who knew!

Phil kindly says that Thornhill Security will offer a 10% discount on any safes or any other security items for our clients.
They do free site visits ( within a reasonable distance but will travel anywhere) to complete a free site survey and offer advice.

They also do locks and additional home security and can even personalise the picture on your safe! ( see photo).
