Treatment 4 Water is a specialist provider of water treatment and compliance services, supporting commercial and industrial clients with water hygiene, legionella control, and sustainable water management solutions across the UK.

“We are pleased to have supported the shareholder on this transaction and to see the business begin an exciting new chapter,” commented Charles Cook, Managing Partner of Cook Corporate.

Cook Corporate Act in the purchase of the oldest bakery in Scotland.

Cook Corporate Solicitors acted for California-based entrepreneur Carlos Huerta in the purchase of Alexander Taylor Bakeries.

Alexander Taylor Bakeries, based in Strathaven, South Lanarkshire has been run by the same family for over 200 years.

Charles Cook, Managing Partner of Cook Corporate, commented “A huge congratulations to Carlos on a successful completion. We wish Carlos and Alexander Taylor Bakeries the very best in their future endeavours.”

Charles worked alongside Tom Hopkins to complete the transaction.

Wright, Johnston & Mackenzie LLP acted for the sellers and DLA Piper worked on the property side of the transaction.

Cook Corporate Acts for the MBO team of Advance Auto Recovery.

Cook Corporate represented the management team in their successful buy out of Advance Auto Recovery Limited.

The business has operated for over 40 years and provides a roadside vehicle rescue service 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year. It operates a large fleet of recovery vehicles and also offers workshop services and storage.

Cook Corporate have broadened their team with the addition of two new hires.

Tom Hopkins, formally of VWV, has joined as a Trainee Solicitor into the corporate team.

Abi Watts, formally of TLT, has joined as a Paralegal into the commercial property team..

Cook Corporate Acts in Sale of Gotim Flats and Buildings Ltd

Cook Corporate have acted for the vendors in the sale of Gotim Flats and Buildings Ltd to Brookfield and SHM.

Gotim Flats and Buildings Ltd, is an owner-operator specialising in student houses in multiple occupation (HMOs) across several university cities, including Exeter, Loughborough, Liverpool, Swansea, and Cardiff. The acquisition is the largest student HMO deal in recent history.

For the past 4 weeks we have been accompanied in the office by work placement student Abi Frankham.

Abi has assisted us with a variety of tasks particularly in relation to the client on-boarding process, the filing and archiving of completed matters, and conducting legal research.

She has also had an opportunity to assist with the drafting of share transfer documents, greeting clients, and attending client meetings.
