On the 9th of September, our fearless team of walkers will be pulling on their trainers and taking on a 10km walk around Brighton to raise money for local advice charities.👣

The charities supported by the Brighton Legal Walk through the London Legal Support Trust provide free legal advice to people facing some of life's toughest challenges. At a time when many households are struggling with rising costs, debt, housing issues and financial uncertainty, their work has never been more important.

From the outdoor play area to a calming indoor sensory space, and lovingly handmade, immersive play zone where the theme changes every month. The centre has something for everyone.

And, of course, we couldn’t miss a stop at the ice cream van for pretend refreshments with Porridge the bear! 🧸

On a hot, dusty Thursday, we had the pleasure of visiting the ABC Animal Sanctuary, one of charity partners.🐾

Every animal arrives with its own story. Some have suffered mistreatment, but many are simply there due to a change in circumstance. This could be the loss of an owner, a separation or financial hardship. Where animals are elderly or need specialist lifelong care, the sanctuary offers a permanent home.🏡

Since the founder, actress Alexandra Bastedo, passed away in January 2014, her legacy has been carried on by six trustees and a team of over 80 volunteers. They turn out in all weathers to care for the animals, day in, day out.

We are pleased to announce one of our new charities for the year, ABC Animal Sanctuary. 📣

The sanctuary was founded over 45 years ago by the actress, Alexandra Bastedo. What started with the rescue of a single donkey has grown into a lifeline for hundreds of unwanted and abandoned animals.

We’re honoured to be partnering with such a compassionate and care-giving organisation. We look forward to supporting their vital work in the months ahead. ⭐️

As their new partner, we were thrilled to donate items to help create Summer Wellbeing packages, supporting children across Sussex over the school holidays. From play equipment to everyday essentials, each of our offices gathered a great range of items.

It was wonderful to meet the team and see all the amazing facilities at the centre first hand. From the outdoor play area to a calming indoor sensory space, and lovingly handmade, immersive play zone where the theme changes every month. The centre has something for everyone! 👏
