A case that I worked on since last year involving the abduction of a child by his father has been reported both as a fact finding judgment and a welfare decision earlier this year. I represented the child and the Court made serious findings against the father, including editing/falsifying evidence that he presented to the Court. The case illustrates that abducting a child is not only a criminal offence but also extremely harmful to the child who is deprived of a relationship with the other parent.
